The Nightmare Before Christmas Storyboard Art Group of 5 (Touchstone/Disney, 1993). This ground-breaking film was released on 10/13/93. It was directed by Henry Selick and developed off of artwork and stories by the film's producer, Mr. Tim Burton. It was re-released in a 3D format years later, and was shown on Halloween. Here is series of five original storyboard drawings created for the film. They showcase Jack Skellington, the Mayor of Halloween Town, Jack with Doctor Finkelstein, Jack as Santa with Sally, and Jack as the Pumpkin King. Drawings are in graphite with crayon on 9" x 5" paper. There are production numbers on stickers applied to each storyboard, in the corner; there are pinholes in the corners as well. All five are housed in one common frame. Matted with five openings measuring 10" x 7", in a Plexiglas-front frame measuring 32" x 39". Magnificent display! Frame is sold as-is; drawings have minor handling wear. Very Good condition.Auction Info
