Original artwork of the Muppets in a souped-up hot rod with Fozzie Bear on a motorcycle behind them leaving the diner. Kermit is at the wheel with the Swedish Chef, Gonzo, plus Animal and bandmates of the Muppet Band. This is a Rick Brown original. Mr. Brown is a longtime Sesame Street Magazine artist. In the 1980s, he became a leading artist for Muppets children's books. Illustration is in gouache on board measuring 15" x 19", with a painted area of 17" x 11"; it's signed in the bottom right corner. Car and motorcycle take up 14" x 6". Beautiful sharp colors. Any and all original Muppet artwork is considered rare. Minor handling and edge wear. Some tape on white border, nowhere near any artwork. Very Good condition.
