Description
The Mickey Mouse Club Jiminy Cricket Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, c. 1950). Featured in this lot is a spectacular 16-field animation drawing presenting an amazing full-size picture of the iconic Jiminy Cricket from the Mickey Mouse Club. The emblematic cricket appeared as the host in the educational segments "I'm No Fool" and "You and Your..." further establishing him as one of the most memorable Disney characters. Jiminy is wearing his classic outfit, doing yo-yo tricks, and measuring 6.25" rendered in blue pencil, numbered 41 in the bottom right corner and presenting an animator's timing chart on the right edge. The lot has the middle peghole reinforced, light toning, and some smudging. In Very Good condition.From the 30+ Year Disney Character Artist Mark Mitchell Collection.
