DescriptionThe Mad Doctor Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). This short is considered the scariest Mickey Mouse short ever produced; it was even banned in the UK! It was a parody of sorts of the Universal horror movies, and features a raving-mad Doctor XXX. This is an outstanding original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing of Mickey Mouse in the finale with Pluto. A bee sting awakens Mickey from his bad dream as he is calling out for Pluto. Pluto jumps through the window, and the pair are united. You can see this image around the 6:42 mark into the short. It was directed by David Hand, with much of the animation done by Art Babbitt. Graphite image with red pencil highlights, with a nice overall image size of 3" x 4" .Minor handling and edge wear; Fine condition.
