DescriptionThe Little Mermaid Sebastian Animation Drawings Group of 7 (Walt Disney, 1989). "GASP! He knows!" says Sebastian in this collection of seven rough animation drawings. Rough drawings are almost always done first. The animator will create the roughs to test timing and get a feel of the weight and form of the character. Sebastian measures approximately 5" x 5.5" in these roughs, rendered in blue pencil on 12 field animation paper. The drawings are numbered 21, 29, 33, 37, 41, 45, and 51. Dialog is handwritten on each piece. Six of the drawings have the animator's timing sheet notations on the pages. These are nice large expressive images of the singing crustacean, Sebastian. Good animation roughs from a major motion picture are a must-have for any discerning collector of animation art. These rough drawings are actual working production art and thus show some mild edge wear from normal handling and use. Condition is Very Good.
