The Little Mermaid Sebastian Animation Drawings Sequence of 21 (Walt Disney, 1989). In The Little Mermaid, Chef Louis sang "Les Poissons" as he chased Sebastian around his kitchen, "How on earth could I miss such a sweet, little succulent crab? Quelle dommage! What a loss, here we go, in the sauce and some flour, I think just a dab then I stuff you with bread it don't hurt, 'cause you're dead." In this lot is an extraordinary group of 21 animation rough drawings from the scene with Sebastian being chased, battered and floured by Chef Louis. The drawings were rendered in blue pencil on 16 field animation paper. Three of the drawings have timing sheet notations written on them. Sequential animation drawings are considered rare and highly sought after by discerning collectors of animation. This is a fantastic group of sequential drawings showing Sebastian as he stretches and squashes in this high-action scene from Walt Disney's 28th animated feature film. The artwork is actual working production art and therefore shows some mild edge wear from normal handling and use. Condition is Very Good.
