The Little Mermaid Flounder Animation Drawings Sequence of 10 (Walt Disney, 1989). Ariel says, "Flounder, you really are a guppy." In Walt Disney's first animated feature film of the Disney Renaissance era (1989-1999). Flounder is Ariel's best friend, who regularly embarks on her adventures despite his cowardly demeanor. Though his name would imply otherwise, he is not a flounder, but a tropical fish. Here is a wonderful sequence of ten animation roughs showing a playful Flounder rendered in blue pencil on 16 field animation paper. Six on the ten drawings have the animator's timing sheet notes along the right side of the sheet. This excellent group of sequential drawings featuring the comical guppy would be a nice addition to any animation art collection. The artwork is actual working production art and therefore shows some mild edge wear from normal handling. Corner fold/creases and paper curling. Otherwise, condition is Very Good.
