The Little Mermaid Ariel Production Drawing (Walt Disney, 1989).
The Little Mermaid is the story of a mermaid princess named Ariel that wants to be part of the human world. The Little Mermaid was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker and released to theatres on 11/17/89. Princess Ariel is the seventh and youngest daughter of King Triton and Queen Athena, rulers of the undersea kingdom of Atlantica. Ariel lived through much of her young life with a passionate - yet forbidden - admiration of the human world, and longed to someday experience life on the surface. Ariel is the fourth official member of the Disney Princess line-up, voiced by actress, Jodi Benson. In this lot we have a fantastic rough production drawing of Ariel as she first sees, and falls in love with Prince Eric. The image measures 5.5" x 5.5", rendered in graphite on 12 field animation paper. The artwork is in Fine condition.
