The Little Lion Hunter Inki Animation Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1939). Although considered "politically incorrect" today, the five Chuck Jones-directed cartoon shorts featuring young African hunter Inki were remarkably innovative, with beautiful graphics and a strange lyrical pulse that made them stand out. Here's an original 12 field animation drawing of Inki from his very first short, The Little Lion Hunter, as designed by Charlie Thorson. This is from the scene where he chases a turtle into a hollow log; he's just crawled out from the other end (followed by a mysterious Mynah bird, who hops over him). Inki is drawn in graphite with nice red, yellow, and blue pencil highlights, and an image size of 4.5" x 4.5". Extremely rare! Minor handling and edge wear. Small paper loss in bottom left corner and right corners, nowhere near any artwork. Paper is brittle. Good condition.
