Description
The Lion King Scar Animation Drawing by Andreas Deja (Walt Disney, 1994). "Hey, did you bring us anything to eat, Scar, old buddy, old pal? Huh? Did ya, did ya, did ya?" From the hand of Scar's supervising animator Disney Legend Andreas Deja, who also animated characters like Lilo and Jafar, we present an enormous 16 field graphite with color pencil animation drawing of the lion himself. The detailed drawing was created for roughly 26:55 in the award-winning film The Lion King after the hyena Banzai asks if Scar as picked up anything for them to eat, and he has... if only to bribe him and his friends so they'll set the wildebeest up for the stampede. It is made even more rare because the film was animated digitally and production art can be difficult to find. If you're looking for the first drawing in the sequence, you're in luck! The page is noted with a circled one in the lower right corner. Scar is gigantic at about 10.5'' x 10'' with a timing chart and a note in the upper right corner of the page.
