DescriptionThe Lion King: An Environmental Fable Background Layout Art Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1994). This 20-minute animated and live action film starred Simba, Pumbaa and Timon. It was shown at Epcot in Orlando Florida in stunning 70 MM. This is a pair of background layout concept art pieces from the hand of Andrew (Drew) Gentile. One is a full-finished mixed media multi-colored piece of original artwork in which you can see Pride Rock in on the right side border. This amazing piece of artwork is 24" x 12". This is magnificent artwork! A second concept piece from this film shows the lagoon with effects of pollution within the environment. It is in graphite and blue pencil on paper of 24" x 13.5". Both are from the hand of long-time background and layout artist Mr. Andrew (Drew) Gentile. This is the only artwork we have ever seen come up from this long-running Epcot show. Both pieces are hand-signed by the artist. Minor handling and edge wear. Overall Good condition.
