Description

The Klondike Kid Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1932). Mickey is not having a barrel of laughs in this superb sequence of three animation drawings! Everyone's favorite mouse finds himself thrown against the wall by the dastardly Pierre (Peg-Leg Pete), unable to stop him from kidnapping Minnie. But he doesn't let that stop him from rushing after his villainous nemesis, even with pieces of the barrel still stuck to him. This wonderful sequence is rendered in graphite with color pencil, capturing Mickey before, during, and after the barrel hits the wall. It can be found starting at about the 3:44 mark, featuring the mouse's determination to chase Pete and rescue his love interest. The drawings range from around 5.5'' x 5'' (with debris included) to 6'' x 2.5'' and are noted as 69, 91, and 119 in the lower right corners. This group is in Very Good condition with light age-related toning, minor edge and handling wear, and faint smudges.
