Description

The Klondike Kid Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1932). Mickey is off to rescue Minnie in this amazing pair of animation drawings from this Wilfred Jackson-directed classic. He determinedly follows Pierre (aka Peg-Leg Pete) through the billowing snow, pushing Pluto to go as fast as he can to catch up! The pair can be found starting at 3:48 when Mickey approaches the sled and are rendered in graphite. They both have great expressions and poses, capturing the tension of the chase sequence. The pair are numbered 107 and 10 in the lower right corner. Mickey's full figure measures about 5.5'' x 3.75'' with a whip snapping effect that's about 2'' x 2''. Pluto is around 2'' x 2.25''. The first is marked for scene 41 with an additional note about the snow in the scene, while the second is noted has a circled number one. Both pages are in Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear, light age-related toning, and faint smudging near the border of the first page.
