    Description

    The Jungle Book Children's Story Book Illustration Original Art (Walt Disney, 1967). Original one-of-a-kind painting on board featuring Mowgli, Baloo, and Bagheera, done for a children's book released around the opening of the film in 1967. Artwork is from the hand of longtime Disney artist, Mr. Al White, painted on illustration board measuring 15" x 20". Image area measures approximately 9.5" x 14", with large full-figure images of characters measuring 6" - 8". In the 1960s and '70s, Al White was one of the leading artists at Walt Disney Studios, with a specialty for children's book illustrations. A small Walt Disney Productions copyright notice is on the bottom left corner. Stunning painting! Minor handling and surface wear. Very Good condition.
