The Jetsons Title Sequence Animation Drawing with Cel Overlay (Hanna-Barbera, 1962). "Meet George Jetson!" This futuristic animated sitcom premiered in ABC's Prime Time schedule on 9/23/62. Hanna-Barbera only produced 24 episodes until new shows were added to boost syndication in the 1980s. Following its prime time run, the show aired on Saturday mornings for decades, starting on ABC for the 1963-64 season and then on CBS and NBC. The original 24 are still running in syndication! This is an animation drawing of the opening title sequence. The piece features our favorite space age family; George, Jane, Judy and Elroy flying over Orbit City, in George's car! This is a fantastic 12 field graphite drawing that can be seen in the famous cartoon opening. This historical piece of animation has a color print of the Jetsons logo on acetate laid over the production drawing. Opening title animation drawings from this first season are considered very rare. The artwork is in a 15" x 13" frame with Plexiglas and a mat opening of 9" x 6". Frame is sold as-is. Artwork is in Very Good condition.
