The Hockey Champ Donald Duck and Nephews Production Drawing Group (Walt Disney, 1939). Directed by Jack King, The Hockey Champ was an early hit for Donald Duck, featuring the fiery-tempered fowl battling with his nephews. This lot includes two 12-field 5-peghole production drawings, one with Don on skates holding a hockey puck, with a 5.5" tall image; the other featuring Huey, Dewey, and Louie with skates and hockey sticks, approximately 8" x 6". Both are in graphite with red and green pencil highlights; Donald has some additional blue penciled motion notations. What a combo! Fine condition.
