    Description

The Hep Cat Animation Drawing Sequence of 8 (Warner Brothers, 1942). In this classic Bob Clampett-directed short we are introduced to Rosebud the Dog (later to be known as Willoughby). Here he is at the start of this short around the 0:36 mark as he chases the Hep Cat. This is a sequence of eight original animation drawings of this rare character in full-figure who measures approximately 7" x 3" on 12 field 2-peghole paper. Each sheet is numbered in order in the bottom right corner. Bob Clampett was one of animation's pioneers and is credited by many of his contemporaries as one of their greatest influences. The collection of drawings shows very light handling and toning. Condition is Very Good. From the Rev Chaney Archives.
