The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera Promotional Studio Artwork (Hanna-Barbera, 1984). The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera was an animated syndicated programming block produced by Hanna-Barbera that ran on a weekly schedule from 1985 to 1994. The block made its world television premiere on Sunday, 9/15/85 and it included a line-up of both old and new Hanna-Barbera original cartoon shows. The show aired on Sundays in most markets, but some stations broadcast it on Weekdays as well as on Saturdays. The shows featured in the animation block included The Adventures of Don Coyote and Sancho Panda, Fantastic Max, The Flintstone Kids, The Further Adventures of SuperTed, Galtar and the Golden Lance, Midnight Patrol: Adventures in the Dream Zone, The New Adventures of Jonny Quest, Paddington Bear, Paw Paws, The Pirates of Dark Water, Richie Rich, Sky Commanders, The Snorks, Swat Kats: The Radical Squadron, 2 Stupid Dogs, Yogi's Treasure Hunt, Yo Yogi! and Young Robin Hood. In this lot is an extraordinary piece of promotional art created by Hanna-Barbera artists for use in the development of a wall clock. The clock features many of the characters for the programming block. The artwork was rendered in graphite and color pencil on illustration paper of 18" x 18". Mild edge wear from normal production handling and use. Condition is Very Good.
