The Fox and the Hound Copper Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1981). "...When these moments have passed, will that friendship last? Who can say? There's a way. Oh, I hope, I hope it never ends. 'Cause you're the best of friends!" Created for the moments seen at the 20:54 mark of Walt Disney's buddy drama classic The Fox and the Hound, presented is a wonderful original animation drawing featuring the adorable hound dog Copper. In this image, Copper excitedly makes his way toward the fox Tod during Big Mama's musical number "Best of Friends," performed by Pearl Bailey. This charming piece is rendered in graphite and blue pencil on 16 field animation paper. Copper measures 4.25" tall, and the drawing is matted with a window size of 11" x 9" and an overall mat size of 16.5" x 20.5". The mat includes a "The Art of The Fox and the Hound" concept art print featuring a grown-up Tod and Copper. The animation drawing is numbered 11 in the lower right corner, and it shows minor handling and edge wear with some age-related toning. The condition is Very Good.Auction Info
