The Foghorn Leghorn Animation Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1948). "What's going on, I say what's going on here? Don't stand there with your beak open, say something, explain yourself, your tongue's flapping but no noise is coming out of your big mouth!" says Foghorn Leghorn to Henery Hawk's father. This great theatrical short, only the third Foghorn Leghorn cartoon, was written by Warren Foster, and released on 10/9/48. This is an outstanding 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing of Foggy, drawn in graphite with yellow, red, and brown pencil highlights and a great full-figure image of 6". This is an early version of Foghorn Leghorn, with only four tail feathers; the drawing is attributed to the cartoon's director, Robert McKimson. You can see this image around the 2:05 mark into the short. One of the earliest and best Foghorn Leghorn vintage drawings we have seen to date, matted with an opening of 12" x 10", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 22" x 21". Frame is sold as-is; drawing is in Very Good condition.
