    The Flintstones Sunday Comic Strip Original Art by Gene Hazelton (Hanna-Barbera/McNaught Syndicate, 1965). Gene Hazelton began his career with Walt Disney Studios in 1939 and eventually began a long relationship with Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera at MGM. He then moved on with them to Hanna-Barbera, where he headed up the early '60s Newspaper Comic Strip Department. This is the original ink over blue pencil on Bristol board artwork for a Sunday Flintstones page, dated 5/9/65. It features Fred, Wilma, Betty, Barney, Pebbles, and Bamm-Bamm. It also features Fred and Barney's foot-powered cars! Framed with glass and matted with a mat opening of 26" x 18"; overall frame size is 32.25" x 24.75". A fine piece of H-B/Flintstones history, in Fine condition.
