Description

The Flintstones "Rip Van Flintstone" Fred Flintstone Layout Drawing Original Art (Hanna-Barbera, 1965). "Come on, Dino. Let's you and me find a nice cool place to relax." Fred wants to get away from the crowd and nap after getting hit with several practical jokes at the company picnic, in this original 12 field layout drawing by animation legend Dick Bickenbach (1907 - 1994). "Rip Van Flintstone" was the eighth episode from Season 6, first shown on 11/5/1965). This scene would have taken place at about the 8:13 mark as Fred talks to his pet Dino; he soon falls asleep and has a dream where he's awakened 20 years later - yow! Fred is rendered in graphite in a full-figure image measuring approximately 4.5" x 5.5" within a red pencil border. The art is matted with an overall size of 17" x 15". Art condition is in Good to Very Good condition with some handling and edge wear, plus some mild age-related paper toning.
