The Flintstones Arnold and Fred Layout Drawing (Hanna-Barbera, 1962). "Don't forget Arnold, I get it back when I raise the money!" says Fred Flintstone to Arnold the paperboy. "Bettin' Freddy" has returned in this episode, meaning Fred's past gambling problem. He lost in a game of marbles on a double-or-nothing bet, and has to give Arnold his TV as collateral until he raises the money owed. This is an outstanding layout drawing of Fred giving the TV to Arnold, from the 16th episode in Season Two, "The Gambler," which premiered on 1/15/62. You can find this scene at the 12:28 mark into the cartoon. Extensive ink and paint call out codes on this amazing graphite with red pencil highlights layout drawing. Nice full-figure images of 4" and 6". Rare production artwork of the newspaper boy that continually drives Fred crazy, Arnold. Minor handling. Very Good condition.
