The Dognapper Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Animation Drawings Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1934).
Mickey and Donald are two police officers. They are on the trail of Dognapper, Bad Pete. They are eventually able to corner Pete at a sawmill, but with comical results. An early, long-billed policeman Donald is featured along with Mickey Mouse in these three originals. The first piece shows Mickey as a Policeman and special effects around the image and numbered 10 in the bottom right corner. The second drawing is of Donald as a Policeman which is numbered 42 in the bottom right. The third image is a saw mill blade which is headed straight for our two hapless heroes. The drawing is noted as number 119 in the lower right corner. All three pieces were rendered in graphite on 12 field, 2-peghole animation paper. Vintage long-billed Donald Duck artwork is considered extremely rare and highly sought after by astute collectors of animation art. Mild age-related toning and handling. Condition is Very Good.
