    Description

The Cactus Kid Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1930). Mickey Mouse's 18th theatrical short was the last to be animated by Ub Iwerks; it was released on 5/15/30. The cartoon featured Mickey meeting a Mexican Minnie at the El Adobe Café, and eventually taking on Peg Leg Pedro. After Mickey gets Minnie's wrath for playfully pulling her nose, he dances over to the piano and begins to play for her. This is one outstanding 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing of Mickey Mouse at the piano. The large image is almost 8"; the notation "20 X" is written in the bottom right corner. You can see this image around the 2:29 mark into the short. A screen grab print of this scene is included. This rare, early Mickey production drawing is matted with an opening of 11" x 9", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 15" x 12". Frame is sold as-is; art condition is Very Good.
