    The Brave Little Tailor (Le brave petit tailleur) Dessin d'animation de Mickey (Walt Disney, 1938). "Gosh, I don't know how to catch a giant" says a gloomy Mickey Mouse as the Brave Little Tailor. This Academy Award short released on 9/29/38 is thought to be one of Mickey's greatest roles. It had a full roster of animators that included Fred « Flûte, je ne sais pas comment attraper un géant », se désespère Mickey en Brave petit tailleur. Nommé aux Oscars, ce court métrage sorti le 29 septembre 1938 est considéré comme l'un des plus grands rôles de Mickey. Parmi ses animateurs prestigieux figurent Fred Moore, Bill Tytla, Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston et Les Clark sous la direction de Bill Roberts, et Walt Disney lui-même fait la voix de Mickey. Le lot est constitué d'un superbe dessin d'animation original sur feuille perforée de Mickey au moment où il sort du château, s'asseoit, et se demande dans quoi il s'est engagé. Cette scène-clé est visible à environ 4'19" du court métrage. Le dessin de 11,5 x 12,7 cm a été réalisé à la mine de plomb rehaussée de crayon rouge et vert, et comporte le numéro 65D dans le coin inférieur droit. La feuille présente de légères marques de manipulation, de jaunissement et d'usure aux bords, mais se trouve par ailleurs en bon état.

This is an outstanding original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of Mickey Mouse, as he leaves the castle, sits down and thinks, "What did I get myself into?" You can see this Key scene at around the 4:19 mark into the short. The 4.5" x 5" drawing is rendered in graphite with red and green pencil and is numbered 65D in the lower right corner. The paper shows minor handling, tanning and edge wear; otherwise, condition is Fine.
