Description
The Black Cauldron Taran and Hen Wen Storyboard Art (Walt Disney, 1985). David Jonas drew this pair of original studio-used storyboard drawings, mounted two-up on a 14" x 11" blue heavy paper backer. The top drawing shows Taran being tossed around by one of the Horned King's ugly henchmen; this is an enhanced Xerox print with added gray wash and yellow marker. The bottom piece is hand-drawn in graphite, and shows Hen Wen's happy expression when she sees Taran, her keeper. In between the two is a caption, "Release him!," shouted by the Horned King so Taran can make the pig predict where the Cauldron can be found. Both storyboards are on paper measuring 11" wide, and 5" deep for the top piece, 4.75" for the bottom. In Very Good condition with minor handling.Auction Info
