The Black Cauldron Storyboard Photo Reference Master Set (Walt Disney, 1985). The Ron Miller version of The Black Cauldron is supposedly drastically different from Jeffrey Katzenberg's end product film. The final version was originally supposed to be much darker and have some more terrifying scenes before it was watered down. This is film producer Joe Hale's personal master set of original storyboard photo reference sheets. Each page is pan size 20" x 12". Each of the film's sequences are bound in green cardboard folders. This is a master set of Sequences 1 - 9. There are 99 pages of photographic storyboard panels in this lot. Each cover page has Joe Hale's name and sequence of the boards. This is one of the single largest bound collections of storyboards ever seen from this film. Minor handling, edge wear, brittle green covers. Good condition. From the Joe Hale Archives.
