Description

The Big Bad Wolf Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934). "Open the door and let me in!" cries the Big Bad Wolf, as he tries and fails to get into the cupboard where Little Red Riding Hood and her grandma are hiding. The Big Bad Wolf returns in this 1934 Silly Symphony, which was created due to the massive success of the earlier short The Three Little Pigs. In this image, the Wolf tugs fruitlessly at the handles of the door, hoping for a snack in the form of the two hiding characters. The incredible full-figure image of the Big Bad Wolf and the cupboard measures about 5.5" x 5.5". The drawing is rendered with graphite on 12 field, 2-peghole animation paper, and it is marked in its lower right corner with 78. This excellent piece is in Very Good condition, with minor handling and edge wear and some age-related toning.
