The Banana Splits Promotional Brochure Illustration (Hanna-Barbera, 1973). "Tra la la... la la la la..." Original Banana Splits artwork may be some of the hardest Hanna-Barbera material to find. In 1973, Hanna-Barbera costumed characters were part of a "Children's Symphony Concert." The brochure for it reads "What do Bach, Mozart, Scooby-Doo, The Hair Bears and the Banana Splits got in common? The Hanna-Barbera Children's Symphony -- Obviously!" This is rare original studio artwork of The Banana Splits, The Hair Bear Bunch, and Scooby-Doo used on the promotional flyer for this concert. All of these characters would have been on the air in 1973. This is an amazingly detailed graphite graphite drawing on 16 field animation paper. The overall image is an impressive 9" x 13". A sheet of clear mylar protects the drawing. The brochure for which this artwork was created is included and mounted to board! Some minor handling and edge wear is apparent; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
