The Banana Splits in Hocus Pocus Park Animation Drawing Group of 4 (Hanna-Barbera, 1972). You don't have to go searching over hill and highway in your banana buggy to find great animation drawings of the Banana Splits... we have a group of four of them right here! The Banana Splits Show was a live-action big-costume showcase for some great cartoons. But Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper, and Snork didn't get animated themselves until two years after the show was over. This one-hour ABC Saturday Superstar Movie debuted on 11-25-72. These rough layout drawings are produced in graphite and color pencil on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper. The figures range from 4.25" to 6" tall. There is a great full-body image of all four on one drawing. Some tanning and handling, but overall in Fine condition. Tra-la-la...Tra-la-la-la!

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
