The Autograph Hound Shirley Temple, Clark Gable, and Eddie Cantor, and Others Animation Drawing Group (Walt Disney, 1939). When Donald Duck sneaks onto a Hollywood movie lot seeking autographs for his book, he is chased by a Studio Security Guard who wants to remove the Duck. But once all of the Hollywood stars hear that Donald is on the lot, they all want his autograph! This is a series of six graphite drawings in either 12 field or 16 field 5-peghole format featuring various Hollywood stars of 1939. Included are Shirley Temple (looking out of a ship's porthole, 3"), Clark Gable (flying up into screen with his ears, 4"), Stepin Fetchit (7.5" x 7"), Eddie Cantor with Arthur Treacher (5" each), Mischa Auer (7"), and Irwin S. Cobb with Edward Arnold (approximately 6" x 6" each). A wonderful look at the Golden Age of Hollywood stars. Slight tanning, with edge/corner wear. Some wrinkles, however overall in Very Good condition.
