Description

The Autograph Hound Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). Donald sneaks into Hollywood Studios to get as many celebrity autographs as he can, only to be chased the entire time by an incredibly persistent studio security guard. This amazing 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing features Donald as he appears at roughly the 6:15 mark of the Jack King-directed short. The tables have turned now that everyone knows who he is. They're all scrambling for his autograph, including the guard. Donald glares at the man, trapped in a pile of autograph books. The beautiful graphite with color pencil animation drawing measures roughly 5.5'' x 4.5'' with a classic disgruntled expression on the character's face. The page is noted as D35 in the lower right corner. Very Good condition for this great vintage drawing with minor edge and handling wear and light age-related toning.
