The Art of Skiing Goofy Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1941). "Upon reaching the summit, our first step is our turn into position!" This Jack Kinney-directed short started the fan-favorite series of Goofy "How To" cartoons. This is the first short to feature the famous "Goofy Holler," theatrically released on 11/14/41. Here is an original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of Goofy "getting into position;" you can see this around the 3:57 mark into the short. Great overall image size of 7", drawn in graphite with red and green pencil highlights. We love the fantastic facial expression here! The top 7" of paper has toned, possibly from an old framing; this includes the image area. Regardless, this is one great Goofy drawing from a historic short! Minor handling and edge wear; Good condition.
