    The Art of Retta Scott "Bit of Thailand" Watercolor Painting Original Art (c. 1950s-60s). Retta Scott (1916 - 1990) was inducted as a Disney Legend in 2000. She married a Submarine Commander named Ben Worcester, and began a career painting watercolors in her travels and selling them in local galleries. Retta painted wherever her travels took her with her military husband. Here is a beautiful watercolor painting, titled on the back as "Bit of Thailand." She signed the back in graphite Retta Worcester, with an inventory number and price of $40! Painting is in a mat measuring 27" x 22" with a mat opening of 18" x 13". Mat is stained and has handling wear; artwork condition is Very Good. Stunning array of color!
