The Art of Herb Ryman - Nativity Illustration (Walt Disney, c. 1950s-60s). Herb Ryman was inducted as a Disney Legend in 1990. His drawings and portfolio were used by Roy Disney on his trip to New York to secure financing for Disneyland. Herb Ryman worked on attractions for Disneyland, the 1964 New York World's Fair, Disney World, Epcot, and Tokyo Disney. This is a rare original piece of artwork from the hand of Herb Ryman. It is a detailed graphite drawing of the birth of Jesus in the manager. It's a stunning image, and has Herb Ryman written all over it. Signed and inscribed by Herb Ryman (1910 - 1989) in bottom right corner, "To My friend Emil, Herbert Ryman." Framed with glass; matted with an opening size of 15" x 11", in a frame measuring 21" x 16.5". Very Good condition.
