The Art of Hanna-Barbera - Studio Christmas Card Original Art (Hanna-Barbera. 1972). Many people collect studio Christmas cards. They can be tough to find, but way more difficult is locating the original artwork created for the cards. This is the original artwork for the 1972 Hanna-Barbera Studio Christmas/New Year Card. It features no less than 23 classic H-B characters from The Flintstones/Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show, Scooby-Doo, The Banana Splits, The Roman Holidays, and old favorites Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound. The art is attributed to Alex Ignatiev (1913 -1995), a longtime animator who worked on The Jetsons, The Flintstones, Space Ghost, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You, and many others. Artwork is on a 16 field animation sheet in graphite with red pencil highlights. A mockup print with finished artwork of the 1972 cover is included with the art. A rare look into the Hanna-Barbera Studio, circa 1972. Minor handling wear. Overall condition is Very Good.
