    Description

The Art of Eric Larson (Walt Disney, 1970's). Eric Larson was one of Walt Disney's Nine Old Men and a Disney Legend inductee in 1989. He worked at Walt Disney Studio for fifty three years and while a brilliant animator, was also known for starting the Recruitment and Training Program at Disney Feature Animation in 1973. This program ushered in a new generation of animators and filmmakers who would become the foundation for the future success of the studio, taking it to new heights in the late 1980's, 90's and beyond. This is a rare figure drawing from the hand of Mr. Larson (1905 - 1988). It is pen and ink with red pencil on an 8" x 5" sheet of paper. The stunning drawing of a man facing away is signed by Mr. Larson. There is some minor handling and edge wear; otherwise condition is Very Good.
