    Description

The Adams Family Background Layout Drawing (Hanna-Barbera, 1992). Hanna-Barbera first animated The Adams Family in 1973. After the hit live-action movie in 1991, it was brought back in animated form with new episodes that premiered on ABC in 1992. This is an outstanding background layout of Hollywood Blvd, with Grumman's Chinese Theater within the design. It is from the "A Thing is Born" episode. This was the sixth episode, which premiered on 10/17/92. After Granny predicts fame and fortune for him, Thing takes off for Hollywood. This is an amazing background layout by longtime background and layout artist Mr. Andrew (Drew) Gentile. Graphite and colored pencil on pan animation paper of 23" x 10". Highly stylized design, and simply a beautiful piece of artwork. The artwork is hand-signed by the artist. Minor handling and edge wear. Overall Very Good condition.
