Swing Shift Cinderella Red Hot Animation Drawing Signed by Preston Blair (MGM, 1945). This Tex Avery directed short was a follow-up to the hugely popular Red Hot Riding Hood, and in fact starred essentially the same characters in the Big Bad Wolf, Red Hot (as Cinderella), and Grandma (as the Fairy Godmother). The short was released on 8/25/45. This fantastic animation drawing features a 3/4 image of Red Hot, singing "Oh Wolfie, Oh Wolfie." The image measures 8.5" tall. The piece is enclosed in a glass-fronted frame of 20" x 17". The frame has a matboard aperture of 11.5" x 9". Frame sold as-is. The graphite drawing is hand-signed by the man who animated this scene, Preston Blair (1908-1995). Mr. Blair was the brother-in-law to Disney Legend Inductee, Mary Blair. Artwork is in Fine condition.
