Description
Swing Shift Cinderella Red Hot Animation Drawing Signed by Preston Blair (MGM, 1945). This Tex Avery directed short was a follow-up to the hugely popular Red Hot Riding Hood, and in fact starred essentially the same characters in the Big Bad Wolf, Red Hot (as Cinderella), and Grandma (as the Fairy Godmother). This fantastic animation drawing features a waist-up image of Red Hot, singing "Oh Wolfie, oh Wolfie." She measures an impressive 8.25" tall in graphite and blue pencil. It is signed by the man who animated this scene, Preston Blair (1908-1995) and numbered 63 in the lower right corner. Framed under glass with a mat of 9.5" x 11" in a 16" x 11" frame.
