SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron Background Layout (Hanna-Barbera, 1993). This show was originally part of the syndicated Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera block of cartoons. This show ran for two seasons and had its own special. It premiered on 9/11/93. After its initial run, it aired on both Cartoon Network and Boomerang in the 1990s and 2000s. This is a stunning pan background layout drawing of Dark Kat's Lair, located within a volcano. He was the main villain of this show. Graphite and colored pencil on pan animation sheet of 29" x 10.5". This is done by background and layout designer and artist, Mr. Andrew (Drew) Gentile. This impressive piece of artwork is hand-signed by the artist. One look at this masterpiece of art and you could see why this show still has a strong cult following. Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
