Super Dimension Fortress Macross Northrom VF-1S Valkyrie and Regults Painting Original Art (Artmic Co., Ltd, c. 1981-82). Excellent, museum-quality piece. Original painting by Japanese Animation and Design Studio Artmic, founded by Toshimitsu Suzuki after he left Tatsunoko Productions in 1978. The name of the company is short for Art and Modern Ideology for Creation. From the Macross series, this painting plunges us into the heart of the action of the central Macross theme, the struggle between humans and Zentradi. Stunning visuals of the famous VF-1S Valkyries in their various attack modes, Flight, Gerwalk, and Battroid modes against the Zentradi Regults. Ink, acrylic, mixed media on thick board with an image area of 20.5" x 13.5". Signed. In Excellent condition.
