Stitch Original Drawing by Chris Sanders (Walt Disney, 2022). Stitch proves once and for all how cute and fluffy he is in this absolutely adorable original drawing created and signed by Lilo & Stitch co-writer and co-director Chris Sanders! Sanders began to work at Disney in 1987 with a few minor roles and later worked on Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Mulan. He not only helped to write and direct Disney's Lilo & Stitch, he also voiced Stitch in the film and popular television series. He will also reprise his role in the upcoming live-action remake! In addition to Lilo & Stitch, he also wrote How to Train Your Dragon, The Croods, and the new hit film The Wild Robot. The stunning pen and color pencil drawing in this lot shows Stitch full figure at 8.75'' x 9.75'' on 11'' x 14'' paper, donning a flower lei and raising a glass full of fruit, tiny umbrellas, and even an alien skull. Sanders signed the page in the lower right and dated the work 2022. This piece is out of this world and has crash landed in this auction for any fan of Stitch, Chris Sanders, or his impactful, earnest stories and characters.
