    Steve Kaufman - Pepe Le Pew and Penelope Pussycat Painting Original Art (Warner Brothers, 1995). An original oil painting of Pepe LePew and Penelope on stretched canvas! This is from the hand of Pop Artist, and former Any Warhol assistant, the late Steve Kaufman (1960-2010). Mr. Kaufman was selected as one of only a handful of artists to do modern day art pieces of classic Looney Tunes characters for the Warner Brothers Studio Store. This is a rare original acrylic painting on canvas of 36" x 36". It is titled and signed on the back canvas stretch border top, where it is also numbered #949, which may mean his 949th painting for sale. He is known for his hand-drawn silk screened editions, but an original painting from this artist is a rare find! This one was painted over 20 years ago. Minor smudges and handling. In Fine condition.
