    Description

Steamboat Willie Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1928). Historic Ub Iwerks original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing of Mickey Mouse in his first widely released role from Steamboat Willie. This short was directed by Walt Disney and premiered at the Colony Theater In New York on November 18, 1928. This great drawing is from the scene of Mickey Mouse playing the teeth of a large cow. He sure looks pleased with himself! It comes at about the 6:30 mark into the short. They are numbered 191 and 322 on the lower right, and stamped in blue "186" and "317" respectively on reverse. Graphite on paper. The image is approximately 3.5" tall in both, and 5" wide on the larger one.
