Description
Static Shock Joker Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Warner Brothers, c. 2000-04). "...Then I realized Dakota was just lousy with fun, young people... like you. So I decided to pop in and scare up new recruits." Presented is an exceptional sequence of three original animation drawings featuring the Joker in his only appearance from the hit animated series Static Shock. This rare set was created for the moments seen at the 3:49 mark of the episode "The Big Leagues." Rendered in graphite and red pencil on sheets of 12 field animation paper, this is a picture-perfect sequence of images of the sinister Clown Prince of Crime. Each drawing bears a Warner Brothers seal, and each bear the production number 611-A48. The drawings are numbered J28, J31, and J33 in the upper right corners, and the Joker measures a substantial 8.25" tall on each. A perfect encapsulation of Batman's archnemesis, these drawings are rare works of original art from the digitally animated Static Shock. Overall minor handling and edge wear, and the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
