    Description

Spider-Man Animation Drawing Original Art Sequence of 8 (Marvel/Grantray-Lawrence Animation, 1967). "Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can..." went the lyrics for this early animated superhero TV series. The first season gained notoriety for its six-legged spider logo on Spidey's chest and back. That first season was the source for this rare sequence of eight 12 field 3-peghole animation production drawings. Each drawing of our hero swinging his webs includes a visible six-legged spider design on his costume. The sequence is numbered 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, and 23. Figure sizes range from 4" to 5". Art is in graphite and blue pencil; each sheet is hand-signed by Ray Patterson, producer of the first season. Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear.
