Song of the South Original Storyboards Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1946).
Song of the South is set in the Deep South during the Reconstruction era. In the film Uncle Remus tells three tales of Br'er Rabbit and his enemies Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear. From Song of the South we have two very rare storyboard panels. Storyboards are used as a graphic portrayal of how the film will unfold, shot by shot. The mixed media illustrations measure 6.25" x 4.75" and 8" x 5.5" and feature Br'er Rabbit and the Tar Baby. Any animation art from Song of the South is arguably very rare making this a must have for animation collectors and Disney enthusiasts. Both pieces have pinholes in the corners where they were pinned to the story wall. Very Good condition.
