Sock-a-Bye, Baby Popeye Animation Drawing (Max Fleischer, 1934). He's "strong to the finish" because he eats his spinach! Here's a truly outstanding 12 field 3-top peghole animation drawing of Popeye the Sailor Man, driven to distraction by noise while babysitting Betty Boop's little brother Billy. Here he is, opening his signature can of spinach. One can only imagine the action about to happen! Art is in graphite, with a full-figure image of Popeye measuring 5". The number 100 is written in the top right corner. This is one of the single best vintage Popeye animation drawings we have come across to date. This historic drawing is framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 13.5" x 11". Frame is sold as-is; art condition is Very Good.
